I'm about to give it a go with some used candles and a touch of positivity. 😬
I recently came across an idea that made me think - "Shit. I can do that"!
I'm all set to work some candle magic for of three important people in my life. Here's where things took a bit of a twist - I might have chosen the wrong candles. I bought three oversized ones from Target. These candles burned slower than a person with pennies at the bank deposit line - lasting a whopping 24 hours! Lesson learned - when dressing a candle for a specific purpose, choose one that doesn't double as a bedside nightlight!
Now, here's where the metaphysical magick truly kicks in. Rather than tossing the leftover wax from a spent candle, I found myself pondering... What if I could reincarnate these wax remnants, giving them a second chance at burning again, thus keeping the spiritual cycle going? After all, the wax is already dressed and scented with the power of my intentions.
I could melt down the used wax and pour it into new, glass or bowls, transforming it into a completely new with combined scents and intentions. The unused wax from all three candles holds the promise of what I think will be a very neat new candle.
All I'll need is new wicks and something in which to pour the new wax. I came across a video where someone snagged an old coffee maker from a Goodwill store for a mere $5.00, transforming it into a wax-melting cauldron. With a little thrift store luck, I think this won't be too much of a challenge at all.
I look forward to trying this. I'll definitely post the results as a follow up 😏
